Using this Site ...

We hope that our site will support you in giving you the time and space to explore an area of life that is often obscured, and difficult to address. You might be full of questions; perhaps unclear about what the terms, ‘abuse’, ‘child abuse’ and ‘sexual abuse’ actually mean. Our FAQ, or frequently asked questions button helps you to explore these terms, as well as other questions you might ask.

SACA is Different ...

If you are a child abuse survivor, have you ever tried to disclose to a professional who finds it difficult to listen to you, doesn’t believe you or feels uncomfortable working with the issues you need to address?  It may take a long time to be able to build enough trust, as it takes enormous courage to talk about childhood sexual abuse. Shame and self blame can lead to perceived feelings of hopelessness
and despair. Such trauma might be eased by the possibility of meeting another who has undertaken that journey themselves. That’s why coming to SACA is different, as you speak to those who truly know what it is like to be a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.  You will be listened to, taken seriously, believed and accepted.

It is possible for you to take your rightful place in the world and become the person you were meant to be.
